Former Philadelphia Eagles linebacker Seth Joyner didn't mince words when discussing the reports about Jalen Hurts frustrating his teammates and coaches. After The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported that teammates weren't happy with Hurts' approach, Derrick Gunn reported that the coaches haven't appreciated Hurts playing his game instead of what they plan during the week.Joyner joined Jason Whitlock on his "Fearless" show to share more details about these reports. On Monday, Joyner told SPORTSRADIO 94WIP that there was "some consternation" in the locker room and within the organization regarding Hurts.During his conversation with Whitlock, the former linebacker reiterated what he had heard from Gunn, namely that the coaches were unhappy with Hurts' in-game decisions, which raised many eyebrows within the organization."I said, 'I'm not believing that,' and he (Gunn) looked at me, and he looked at everyone that was watching our show and said, 'Trust me,'" Joyner said. "Okay, now I know he's got connections into that building. So if you're upset, you're upset."You know, you can't get mad at me because the story got out. It's not my job to sit on it. It's newsworthy, so it's worth having a conversation about.
