On X, the controversial analyst shared a clip of the interaction between the rookie quarterback and the reporter. Whitlock accompanied the post with a caption claiming that Coach Prime's son suffers from "arrested development" syndrome, taking a shot at his emotional and cognitive maturity.

"The reporter was not baiting Shedeur to criticize Stefanski. The reporter expected Shedeur to say: 'I like his belief in the offense to pick up those yards. He belives in us.' Shedeur struggles with verbal comprehension. Arrested development. You might too," Whitlock tweeted/

In his second game as the starting quarterback of the Browns, Shedeur Sanders failed to lead his team to victory in Week 13. They suffered a disappointing 26-8 loss at home at the hands of the San Francisco 49ers.

In the post-game press conference, the rookie quarterback called the question about his relationship with Kevin Stefanski "rude".

"First of all, that's a rude question to ask," Shedeur said. "If I think, it was a great call by my coach. ... I like being out there playing. So whatever comes with it, it comes with it, like we not going to be here and ever point fingers at not coach or do anything like that."
