Shedeur Sanders has been in the spotlight after leading the Cleveland Browns to a 24-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in his first NFL start in Week 12 on Sunday. Sanders said.Sanders was taken by the Browns with the No. 144 pick in this year's NFL draft. He was the second QB the Browns selected after taking Dillon Gabriel with the No. 94 pick.Sanders began the season as Cleveland's QB3. When the Browns traded Joe Flacco to the Cincinnati Bengals, Sanders served as Gabriel's backup. However, many felt that Stefanski was not giving Sanders opportunities to prove his worth, despite his strong final year at Colorado.Sanders got his first start on Sunday because Gabriel did not clear the concussion protocols. He completed 11 of 20 passes for 209 yards with one touchdown and an interception against the Raiders. He was also sacked once for a loss of three yards.Although Gabriel has now cleared the concussion protocols, Stefanski said that Sanders will start against the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13 on Sunday.Browns QB Shedeur Sanders opens up on improving connection with offenseNFL: Cleveland Browns QB Shedeur Sanders - Source: ImagnLast week was the first time Shedeur Sanders had practice sessions with the Browns' first team offense.
