Shedeur Sanders made the most of his first start for the Cleveland Browns, leading his team to a 24-10 win over the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 12 on Sunday. Sanders became the first rookie quarterback in Browns history to win his first career start since the organization's reactivation in 1999.
Sanders received many plaudits and praise for his excellent starting debut for the Browns. Even Tristan Thompson, who was teammates with LeBron James during their time with the Cleveland Cavaliers, shared his thoughts on Sanders.
"Always a great Sunday when the Browns get a victory. Way to play Shedeur Sanders," Thompson tweeted on Sunday.

Thompson is currently a free agent. He played the past two seasons with the Cavaliers.
Browns remain mum on QB1 after Shedeur Sanders' excellent outing vs. Raiders

The Cleveland Browns have not yet named their starting quarterback for Week 13. Sanders got the start against the Raiders since fellow rookie Dillon Gabriel did not clear the concussion protocols.
However, the Browns have yet to announce who will lead the offense against the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.
Sanders was glad to get his first start and said that he was looking forward to more first-team practice sessions.
“It’s amazing ... after one week of practice,” Sanders said during his postgame interview with CBS Sports. “This is one week of practice. So imagine what a full offseason looks like ... it gets dangerous. I’m just truly thankful that everything happened.”
Browns coach Kevin Stefanski has a tough call to make for Week 13 around his QB1.
