Cleveland Browns safety Grant Delpit shared his unfiltered take on Shedeur Sanders after his successful debut as the team's QB1 in Week 12 against the Raiders. The quarterback completed 11 of 20 passes for 209 yards and one touchdown to lead them to a 24-10 victory and end their three-game losing streak.During Wednesday's press conference, Delpit opened up about the energy that Coach Prime's son brought into the locker room. He also highlighted the loyalty of Shedeur's dedicated fanbase. The safety also said that he wanted him to continue making it work on the offense while they focus on taking care of the defense."I think that dude, Shedeur got like, a crazy fan base," Delpit said. "He got the spark, the stardom and all that. He's popping right now. I tell him to keep popping it, keep doing what he's doing, and we've got him on defense. So we're going to get you the ball back. So keep running the energy man, cause we need it."The Browns acquired Shedeur with the 144th overall pick after selecting Dillon Gabriel in the third quarter. At the start of the season, Coach Prime's son was named as the third-string option behind his rookie counterpart, with veteran Joe Flacco taking over as the QB1.However, the Browns later traded Flacco away to the Bengals, while naming Gabriel as the starter. Shedeur was shifted to the backup role and made his debut during the second half of their 23-16 loss to the Ravens in Week 11.Over the course of the season, reports started to surface that coach Kevin Stefanski was trying to "sabotage" Shedeur Sanders' career amid concerns of how the rookie did not receive any first-team reps. However, the quarterback addressed his relationship with Stefanski on Wednesday."What people do outside the building isn't really in my control," Shedeur said as per ABC6. "Coach Stefanski, he's been coaching since I got here, and we've been doing a very great job with everything that's going on. He tells me what I need to do on and off the field. We've definitely grown, our relationship and everything has grown."Jason Whitlock criticizes Shedeur Sanders for his comments on his relationship with Kevin StefanskiOn X, Jason Whitlock shared a clip from Shedeur's press conference where he talked about his bond with Kevin Stefanski. However, the controversial analyst was doubtful about the rookie quarterback's relationship with the Browns coach. He criticized Shedeur Sanders for the way he handled the question from the press."The comments are pretending he answered this question well. He did not. He threw his head coach under the bus. Amazing. Fifth-round pick. Andrew Berry set Stefanski up for failure. This is wild," Whitlock tweeted.Dillon Gabriel has returned from his concussion protocol. However, Stefanski decided to continue with Shedeur Sanders as the QB1 heading into Sunday's game against the 49ers.
