Russell Wilson's wife Ciara shares motherhood approach to establish comfortable parent-child relationship 

Parenting has always been one of the most uniquely complicated responsibilities, and every parent has their own approaches and techniques. Russell Wilson and Ciara are no exception, developing their own methods to fulfill their parental responsibilities.

In today's world, many parents emphasize creating a comfortable and supportive environment for their kids. Ciara has been working quite well in this segment of parenthood.

In Thursday's appearance on the "Angie Martinez IRL" podcast,Ciara reflected on her parenting journey and revealed how she keeps up with her kids.

"Mama got to stay tapped in. There's different levels of tapped in. For me, it's tapped in for my babies," Ciara said. "I want to be aware, what's happening in their world. I have to go back into my, think-tank, to be like - 'what was life like when I was their age?'" [Timestamp: 4:20]

"Because they go through these different things. You're like, 'I want them to feel comfortable with me'."

Moving forward in her statement, Ciara admitted how she has proactively been analyzing her parenting approaches and figuring out unique ways to "serve them [kids] better." Ciara shares four kids with her husband, Russell Wilson. Ciara also co-parents her eldest son, Future Zahir, whom Wilson and the singer co-parents with her ex-partner, Future.

Additionally, Ciara and Wilson have been raising their eldest daughter, Sienna, son Win Harrison, and youngest child, Amora Princess. The two welcomed their youngest child in December 2023. Besides, the couple has been planning to expand their family to seven.

Ciara marked her attendance at the 2025 Baby2Baby Gala on Saturday. During her red carpet appearance, a reporter asked the singer to fact-check rumors around her alleged family expansion plans. Ciara admitted to being interested in welcoming her 5th baby with Russell Wilson.

“I always say whenever God says, I definitely am down to have number five. He knows that," Ciara said. "It’s just all about when it’s gonna happen for us, and only God knows. But I love my babies. It’s my favorite job on earth, which is being a mom."
