The Philadelphia Eagles are 8-3 for the season and are strong contenders to make a deep playoff run for a second consecutive season. However, it hasn't been smooth sailing for the reigning Super Bowl champions.
Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown has been in the news over the last few weeks with speculations around his future with the team. There have also been rumors of his growing frustration with Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts.
Former NFL tight end Rob Gronkowski weighed in on the situation, taking shots at Hurts, while praising the Eagles WR on the "Dudes on Dudes" podcast with former teammate Julian Edelman
"It's great that we're doing him on Black Friday because he's an absolute deal for the offense," Gronk said (Timestamp 8:00 onwards). "Yeah, he's getting paid like a wide receiver, but he doesn't get the throws that he deserves. If he was on another team that just airs out the ball, this guy would be going for 1400-yard seasons back to back all the time."

"He's a Black Friday deal in a way because he's being a team player by doing his role, still blocking for the running backs down the field. So, in that way, this is great."
Brown has 67 receptions for 1079 yards in 13 games this season and could be on track for a third consecutive season with 1400+ receiving yards.
Eagles legend Donovan McNabb feels AJ Brown's Philadelphia tenure could be ending
While conjecture around AJ Brown's Eagles future has seemingly quietened over the last few weeks, former Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb thinks this could be Brown's final season with the franchise.
"Sometimes you may have to make that tough decision and that's why I said this may be the last year for AJ Brown because of all of this," McNabb said. "The Brown part about it and it never fails, is that now everybody kind of has talked about AJ, but what was the conversation last week that's now spilling over?
"It's about Jalen and how people feel about Jalen and coaches and players and his on-field stuff. It's so funny because it's almost a Déjà vu again. I've been through it. I've seen it happening and it was just a matter of time before all of this talk starts happening."
Brown had eight receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown in his last outing against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday as the Eagles slipped to a frustrating 24-21 loss.
