Retired NFL star Rob Gronkowski believes that coach Matt LaFleur's offense with the Green Bay Packers is very simplistic, with little variety in its schemes. On Wednesday's episode of the "Up & Adams" show, he compared the Packers offense to that of Ben Johnson's with the Chicago Bears. Gronkowski labeled Johnson's offense as more suited to his own playstyle."I really both of the coaches. There's no doubt about it," Gronkowski said. "But I'm gonna go with more of Ben Johnson just because we know he is a true offensive guru. We know what he did with the Detroit Lions last year. We're seeing what he's doing with the Bears."I mean, the Green Bay Packers offense, you know, they're just a vanilla type of offense. They are more on that side. ... But the Bears, they are letting it all go. That's the type of football that I like to play. Just letting all go, not being conservative and taking chances. Ben Johnson's doing that. He's been doing that his whole entire career. ... I just see Ben Johnson fitting my mold more even though I do really believe both coaches are great."Matt LaFleur's offense with the Packers is ranked No.13 in terms of total offense, averaging 340.6 yards and 34 touchdowns. On the other hand, Johnson and the Bears are ranked No.6, averaging 374.3 yards and 34 total touchdowns. In Week 13, Matt LaFleur and his team (8-3-1) secured a 31-24 victory over the Lions, whereas the Bears (9-3) won against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road with a 24-15 final score. Both teams are scheduled to face each other on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.Jordan Love shares his honest thoughts on Ben Johnson taking shots at Matt LaFleurBack when Johnson was introduced as the new coach of the Bears in January, he took a shot at Matt LaFleur, stating that he enjoyed beating the Packers coach "twice a year".During Wednesday's press conference, Jordan Love admitted to hearing about Johnson's comments. However, he kept his cool and did not add more fuel to this rivalry."We're not worried about those things that are said," Love said. "The Bears matchup- we're always trying to win that game.""They're the No.1 team in the NFC. Obviously, we haven't played them yet. The only team in the NFC North we haven't seen. Two games in three weeks- it'll be a great matchup. They're a good team."If the Packers win on Sunday, then they will end the Bears' five-game winning streak and overthrow them as the top team in the NFC North. Both teams will face each other again a week later on Dec.20 at 5 p.m. ET.
