Puka Nacua protects his baby Kingston from evil eye 32 days after welcoming child with ex-GF Hallie Aiono

LA Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua gave NFL fans a sneek peak into his life as a new dad on Wednesday. He posted an Instagram carousel, with a mirror selfie as the first slide. He held his baby, who was wrapped in a blanket. Nacua wore a white tank top and black pants.

The nursery had a big stuffed giraffe, a bassinet with a dark blanket and a small dresser with a lamp on it.

"🙏🏽🤞🏽," Nacua wrote.

Folded hands emoji means gratefulness, while fingers crossed is used as protection from the evil eye.

The rest of the post included pictures from this season and a quote from Epictetus.

Nacua's post with his baby came 32 days after his ex-girlfriend, Hallie Aiono, announced the birth of Kingston on Oct. 30. She uploaded photos from the hospital, showing Nacua next to her as she held their baby.

“Kingston I prayed for this day, the day I finally got to meet you… Already, you’ve taught me more about love, strength, and grace than I ever knew possible,” Aiono wrote on Instagram.

Even though they are in the middle of a paternity dispute, he still left a comment under her post: “Proud of you hal! Welcome king.”

Hallie Aiono spoke openly on Dec. 2 about how heavy this year has felt for her. She posted a long note on social media, explaining how much she has changed in the past few months.

“December, please give me the ending I deserve. Not perfect, not dramatic... just gentle,” Aiono wrote on Instagram.

“I’ve carried so much this year. Moments I never talked about, smiles I had to force, decisions I made with a shaking heart. I grew in ways even I didn’t notice and now, standing at the edge of the year, all I want is a quiet finish... one that doesn’t hurt, one that doesn’t test me again.”

She ended her message by asking for kindness for herself and others.
