Steelers DT Cam Heyward called out Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen after their on-field confrontation during this Week 13 showdown on Sunday. In the post-game press conference, the four-time All-Pro explained why things got heated between him and the 2024 NFL MVP on the field. Heyward said that Allen was playing dirty, which is the reason he lost his cool and confronted him."Being kneed in my stomach (by Allen)?" Heyward said. "And then just jawing back and forth. That ticked off the entire game because as a quarterback they are protected, but I'm not. This pisses me off. Yes (he kneed me). That's exactly what I said. Yes (it was on purpose by Allen)."He said after, 'I had to do something to get you off of me.'"After the Steelers took a 7-0 lead in the first quarter, Allen and Heyward had a physical moment, shoving each other on the field. Other players then separated the two before the camera panned to the Steelers DT, who was visibly angry and yelled at Allen. The game ended with the Bills securing a dominating 26-7 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers on the road. Josh Allen completed 15 of 23 passes for 123 yards and two total touchdowns, helping his team to an 8-4 record after last week's loss to the Houston Texans. On the other hand, four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers completed 10 of 21 passes for 117 yards for the Steelers. He failed to score any touchdowns.Mike Tomlin's team found themselves on the scoreboard thanks to RB Jay Warren's touchdown in the first quarter. The Steelers are 6-6 with a two-game losing streak, placing them second behind the Ravens in the AFC North.NFL analyst opens up about the Bills' "multidimensional offense" under Josh Allen and James CookOn Saturday, on "NFL on CBS" after the Steelers vs Bills game, analyst Ran Carthon talked about the two different types of offense that coach Sean McDermott and his OC, Joe Brady, are running. He said that one plan focuses on utilizing RB James Cook. The other is more inclined towards giving Allen more freedom on the field."To me this offense is like two different offenses," Carthon said. "You come into it, you have the one game plan that heavily features James Cook, which we saw today. But then you have other offense that is more carefree. That's opened up for Josh Allen to go out and do what Josh Allen does. Which is him being a threat with his legs on the football, and then him being able to play off schedule and create those down field throws. The Bills will next face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Dec.7, at 1 p.m. ET.
