The newly formed women’s soccer club has NFL Legend, Peyton Manning, as a minority owner. Manning ended his career with the Broncos, winning a Super Bowl there.“We are honored to support Denver Summit FC for their inaugural match at Empower Field at Mile High,” Broncos president Damani Leech said in a statement. “This venue has hosted many memorable moments in Colorado sports history, and we look forward to working together to bring a best-in-class experience for Summit FC fans.”Manning joined the ownership of the team during the summer, and he has expressed deep commitment to its success in the NWSL. The match, against an opponent yet to be named, will air nationally on CBS, with tickets going on sale Wednesday, Nov. 12.
