New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft had an interesting proposal for Rob Gronkowski, as the legendary tight end returned to the Pats to retire with his first team in the league. Gronkowski, one of the best players in his position, would be interested in returning to the field under the right conditions.During his press conference, Kraft tested the water on whether Gronk would be interested in a longer contract, so he could suit up against the New York Jets on Thursday night.When asked if Gronkowski would be interested in a two-day contract, the tight end had a fun response."Sure, what's the signing bonus?" "Like, do I typically, like, or, you know, possibly can get a signing bonus as well?" "Like, you have to probably have some type of pay, you know, structured in the contract, even if it's a one day contract ... if I do sign a one day he would put me in Josh McDaniels, he knows how to ... But if I sign it, if I sign it today, at 12:15 it expires at 12:15 tomorrow, I gotta wait till like 10 pm to sign it tonight, because then I can, typically, I can, I can actually play in the game.
