Patrick Mahomes completed 22 of 30 passes for 257 yards and three touchdowns, with another TD rushing.

However, fans felt that the officiating of the game was unfair, and the referees made calls in favor of the Chiefs (3-3).

Andy Reid's team had zero accepted penalties on Sunday despite several instances that were debated online. The Lions declined an offside penalty called on Chiefs defensive lineman Chris Jones late in the fourth quarter.

On the other hand, Dan Campbell's team had four penalties for 38 yards called against them, raising claims that the game was rigged.

After the game, Lions coach Dan Campbell expressed his disappointment with his team's four-game winning streak coming to an end at Arrowhead Stadium.

"We just didn't make the plays we needed to make," Campbell said. "We were able to do some good things, things at times, but not enough for a team like that with the pedigree they have. We were not able to complement each other, and we were not able to make it a game, really. We weren't."

Compared to Patrick Mahomes, Lions quarterback Jared Goff went 23 of 29 for 203 yards and two touchdowns.
