Patrick Mahomes' teammate Jawaan Taylor gets married 1 week after announcing pregnancy with Tiffany Hylton

Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Jawaan Taylor is now a married man. He shared sweet moments from his wedding on his Instagram story on Sunday, including a selfie with his wife, Tiffany Hylton.

“Married my best friend this week 🤍,” Taylor wrote.

One photo showed their hands with wedding rings, and they smiled while cutting their wedding cake in another snap.

Taylor added, “May God cover our union. Mr. & Mrs. Taylor 🤍,” and teased fans with an update.

“Wedding celebration coming in 2026,” Taylor wrote.

The happy news came one week after Taylor announced that he is going to be a father. He posted pictures from the maternity shoot with Hylton.

"In God’s perfect time, He gave us our greatest gift. Baby Taylor coming soon 🤍✨," Taylor wrote on Instagram on Nov. 2.

Taylor also shared a picture of the cake in the last slide, and the offensive tackle revealed the baby's gender.

"It is a girl," Taylor wrote.

Chiefs quaterback Patrick Mahomes congratulated the couple.

"Congrats!!!" Mahomes wrote.

Taylor got married ahead of Kansas City’s bye week. The Chiefs (5-4) are coming off a loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 9. Their next game is on Nov. 16 against the Denver Broncos at Mile High Stadium.

Jawaan Taylor and Tiffany Hylton got engaged on Sept. 29. The Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle shared pictures of the special moment on Instagram the following day.

"Every prayer answered in one yes. 💍 Thank you Jesus!" Taylor wrote.

Taylor proposed in front of a heart-shaped arch covered in roses. The room was decorated with candles, vases of roses and a violinist playing in the corner. Life-size photos of the couple and a large lit-up sign with “Will You Marry Me” completed the scene.

The engagement came two months after the couple celebrated their first anniversary. Taylor commemorated the milestone by posting a heartfelt message on Instagram for his then-fiancée, Tiffany Hylton.

"7.13 🖤 One year. One beautiful, unforgettable trip around the sun with you. You’ve filled my heart with so much love, laughter, and peace. I’m blessed to call you mine. I love you sweetheart.. Happy Anniversary!," Taylor wrote.

Taylor is playing in his seventh NFL season and joined the Chiefs in 2023. He was picked by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the second round in 2019.
