"It's pretty much the biggest thing. Guys are getting open and giving me chances to make the plays down the field and I just gotta give them chances to make plays."And I think that's some thing I can learn from with guys like Xavier (Worthy) early, is that it might not be the perfect pass that's going to be a touchdown catch, but if I throw the ball and just give him a chance to make a play, he'll make a play on it. And then he can score a touchdown from there. So, being better there and giving guys chances usually works out."The Chiefs have the fifth-ranked passing offense this season, averaging 248.9 yards. However, they are 16th in rushing, averaging 115.3 yards.Last week, they suffered a 22-19 loss to the Denver Broncos, further denting their playoff chances. Mahomes completed 29 of 45 passes for 276 yards and one touchdown.
