The Detroit Lions ended the Dallas Cowboys' three-game winning streak after a 44-30 win on Thursday. However, the win has been marred by questions over controversial calls from the referees.
During the fourth quarter of Thursday's showdown, the officials flagged Dallas tight end Jake Ferguson for offensive pass interference on 3rd-and-3 from the Detroit 11-yard line.
Following the call, NFL broadcaster Pat McAfee took a jab at the officiating crew in his post on X, writing:
"These refs are super dookie right now."

Although the replays showed Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone seemingly tugging Ferguson's jersey, the refs flagged Ferguson for OPI after a brief consultation. The decision deflated the Cowboys' spirited fightback in the second half with 3:50 left in the fourth quarter.
The Cowboys, who were trailing 27-9 at one point in the third quarter, turned around the score to 30-27 before the Lions retook the lead to make it 37-27 with less than eight minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott slammed referees for a controversial decision during Lions game on Thursday
While Pat McAfee took a sly dig at the officials for the controversial call, veteran Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott didn't mince his words on the referee's decision on a crucial play in the fourth quarter.
"Do I get fined for talking about this?… I’m sorry, that was bad. I got to look at the film, maybe I can see it from their vantage point. I know I talked to the ref after, he said [Ferguson] aggressively pulled through. I’ve never seen a call like that," Prescott said after the game.
Prescott completed 31 of his 47 attempts for 376 passing yards, throwing a touchdown and two interceptions. While the veteran QB wasn't impressed with the referees, the Cowboys' defense didn't do them any favors by conceding 17 points on three offensive drives from the Lions.
