I mean, it wasn't that long ago to where I was playing in the cold [at Ohio State], so I try my best to stay warm. I mean, for some guys, maybe, but I'm grateful that I went to Ohio State and played in some of the environments."He also reflected on using Vaseline to warm himself before games - something that was prohibited during his time in college:"When you live in the cold, when you're playing it, it's not as bad. On the bench, you're fine, because (of) the heaters. The one thing it's hard is, like, a TV timeout. Just sitting out there, is when it gets kind of colder, and the warm-ups is always hard. But, once you get past that, and you're playing, it's kind of normal. As long as it's not, like, super windy."CJ Stroud got candid on facing Patrick Mahomes, ChiefsIn two games so far against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, C.J. Stroud has been winless. Still, he relishes the opportunity of once again playing against someone whom he considers an idol. During his presser, he said:"It’s always cool to go play in KC against a team who’s been really great for the last couple of years. I’ve been a fan of Pat [Patrick Mahomes] for a long time. And just, he’s a heck of a player."He also downplayed any notions of a rivalry between the two of them:"I don’t really think we have that. I don’t really know him too well. But I think he’s a heck of a player. And anytime you get to share the field with some legendary guys, you just try to gain their respect and move from there."Kickoff for the Texans-Chiefs game is at 7:20 pm CT on NBC.
