Dak Prescott's Dallas Cowboys suffered a 44-30 loss to the Detroit Lions at Ford Field in Week 14 on Thursday night, which added another dent to their playoff hopes. Midway through the fourth quarter, Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson was flagged for a questionable offensive pass interference call, even though he didn’t appear to illegally make contact or push Lions linebacker Alex Anzalone.

The penalty didn't allow Dallas to drive forward for a touchdown play. Instead, the Cowboys made a field goal to cut the Lions’ lead to seven points.

After the game, Prescott ripped into the referees for their controversial OPI call on Ferguson.

“Do I get fined for talking about this?" Prescott said. " … I’m sorry, that was bad. I got to look at the film, maybe I can see it from their vantage point. I know I talked to the ref after, he said (Ferguson) aggressively pulled through. I’ve never seen a call like that.”

Meanwhile, Ferguson had 58 yards on five receptions.

The Cowboys have now lost six games this season and have one tie. They were on a three-game win streak before travelling to Detroit on Thursday.
