During Monday's press conference, he talked about how his family reacted to his celebration.

"My wife was just laughing, that's about it," Johnson said. "I guess my two-year-old was watching the TV screen back at home and she was looking, 'No shirt, no shirt.' She was pointing to the screen, 'No shirt, no shirt.' My wife had no idea what was going on. So, that's really about how that went.

Following Friday's victory, Ben Johnson and his team put up an impressive five-game winning streak. They currently lead the NFC North with a 9-3 record, while the Green Bay Packers are placed second with an 8-3 record.

"I hate to draw attention away from our players, but the intent was to bring up the city of Chicago and hopefully it gave them a little excitement, because they're a big part of this journey as we're going through the season also," Johnson said as per ESPN. "I wanted to bring attention to them."

Against the Bears, quarterback Caleb Williams completed 17 of 36 passes for 154 yards and a touchdown. On the other hand, Jalen Hurts completed 19 of 34 passes for 240 yards and two touchdowns.

Ben Johnson and the Bears are currently the No.1-seeded team in the NFC. He was hired in January after spending the past three seasons as the offensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions.

Ben Johnson shares his honest thoughts on Caleb Williams development in 2025

Despite a 9-3 record, Ben Johnson was critical of Caleb Williams' development during his sophomore year. So far in 12 games, he has tallied 2,722 yards and 17 TDs passing with five interceptions and 19 sacks to his name.

During Monday's press conference, the Bears coach said that the team's passing still had a lot of areas for improvement.

"We gotta fundamentally be correct. ... Everybody has a role to play to get this pass game cleaned up," Johnson said. "It's not where it needs to be. We're winning in spite of our passing game, not because of it, and none of us are pleased with that right now."

The Bears will next face the Green Bay Packers on the road on Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET
