Jordan Love shockingly struggled (on his birthday, no less) against an erstwhile-disastrous franchise on Sunday, and at least one teammate is unhappy about it.

Against the Carolina Panthers, the Green Bay Packers quarterback managed to cover 273 yards on 26 completions but was otherwise not good, throwing an interception against zero touchdowns. In addition, Josh Jacobs was his only weapon to crack 100 scrimmage yards, carrying the ball 17 times for 87 yards and a touchdown and catching it 4 times for another 13.

After the game, star edge rusher Micah Parsons seemingly took shots at him, comparing his performance to Bryce Young's (only 11 completions for 102 yards and an interception):

“If we lose a game like that in the NFL, we just didn’t play good. Not too many quarterbacks are throwing for 100 yards and winning.”

Love's struggles were not the only negative thing that affected the Packers' offense. Tight end Tucker Kraft, their leading receiver, went down in the third quarter with a suspected season-ending ACL tear. Rookie wideout Matthew Golden later joined him in leaving the field with a shoulder injury.

The Panthers, on the other hand, enjoyed a monstrous ground game from Rico Dowdle, who carried the ball 25 times for 130 yards and two touchdowns.

Jordan Love reacts to Packers' loss vs. Panthers

After the game, Jordan Love rued two plays in particular that cost him and the offense dearly after Savion Williams' fumble at the Panthers' 15.

The first was a drive to the 31 that saw them forego a field goal in favor of going for it. It ended with him being pressured and throwing a desperate incompletion. He said about it:

"Matt made a decision on that one. He wanted to try and put up a touchdown and, obviously, it didn't work out."

The next one was his interception to Trevon Moehrig, that was intended for Christian Watson:

"I wanted to throw one past them, and the back-side safety was playing cloud and I didn't see him. He was able to push over. We didn't have anyone holding him back side, so he was able to push over and it was pretty much like a punt return."

Next for the Packers are the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles on November 10. Kickoff is at 7:15 PM CT on ESPN/ABC.
