Running back De’Von Achane joined hosts Amon-Ra and Equanimeous St. Brown on Wednesday's episode of the "St. Brown Podcast." When the conversation shifted to what Miami players do to unwind, Achane said the team has a few go-to spots, ranging from laid-back lounges to the occasional strip club visit."I really wasn't a going-out type of dude at first," Achane said. "Most of us though, we hit each other, 'Where y'all trying to go?'. We might go to a lounge just chill, vibe, or might go to a strip club."Achane may have meant it as a casual comment about Miami’s usual nightlife scene, but NFL fans jumped on it fast, using it to fire off their own messages to the young running back and the Dolphins:"Miami never winning a championship bruh," one fan said."I get it’s Achane and he's been balling but this type of stuff is why Miami players are never locked in on football. Bet you in places like Green Bay they are just focused on one thing and it’s football," another fan said."This is what the Pat Riley Miami mindset has come to - smh," one fan said. Here are some more reactions from fans."No wonder Miami been trash. Also explains the Tua comments talking about players not attending meetings," one fan said."Yeah no wonder we're 5-7," another fan said."Miami is definitely different than other cities, way too much distraction. This is why as a Dolphin fan, I know they will never win another championship," a fan said. The Dolphins have been in strong form over the past three weeks, winning all three games. Still, their early 1-6 slump has left them on the edge of the playoff race at 5-7.Even with their playoff hopes getting slimmer, one thing has stayed bright for the Dolphins this season and that's Achane’s steady breakout and week-to-week impact. The 24-year-old running back has developed into one of Miami’s most reliable and explosive playmakers. Through 12 games, he has totaled 186 carries for 1,034 rushing yards and six touchdowns. He’s also been a major factor in the passing game, adding 54 receptions for 370 yards and four more scores.De’Von Achane named the AFC Offensive Player of the Month for OctoberThe NFL announced Thursday that Miami Dolphins running back De’Von Achane won the AFC Offensive Player of the Month award for November.
