Maxx Crosby is playing against Shedeur Sanders for the first time, and he has some thoughts about it.On Sunday, the Cleveland Browns will start the fifth-round rookie quarterback for the first time when they visit the Las Vegas Raiders. And the star edge rusher had a stern message towards team and player on his podcast, "The Rush", on Wednesday:"We have a job to get done. And we got to make his life miserable, shut down their offense for us to have a chance. And I got a ton of respect for Deion and his whole family. They're great people, and it'll be fun."Another NFL star who sent a message to Sanders on Wednesday was Travis Kelce. On a more encouraging note, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said this while doing the "wristwatch" gesture on "New Heights":"Let's (expletive) go!"Maxx Crosby praises Cowboys owner Jerry JonesIn the same podcast appearance, Maxx Crosby had some positive words for Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who had said that while the Cowboys were "America's Team", Raiders fans were "worldwide" (Timestamp: 5:24):"That’s massive respect coming from Jerry Jones, somebody I respect a ton. That dude is a maverick. He changed the game in so many ways. People like that (who) really go against the grain and stand up for what they believe in and literally risk everything to go after what they love and believe in, I got nothing but respect for."He continued:“I think his statement is 100% true. The Raiders fans, no matter where you’re at, there’s going to be Raiders fans everywhere. And the Cowboys are the same way.”Notably, the Cowboys had been the heaviest favorites to land the multiple-time All-Pro and Pro Bowler at the trade deadline. However, no moves for him were made, and the franchise ultimately settled for acquiring defensive tackle Quinnen Williams and linebacker Logan Wilson from the New York Jets and Cincinnati Bengals, respectively.Nevertheless, Jones still had praise for Crosby the day after a 33-16 win in Vegas. He said on 105.3 The Fan:“That Crosby is a mess. There’s an outside guy that makes a difference.”Kickoff for the game against the Browns is at 1:05 p.m. PT on CBS.
