Exploring Marshawn Kneeland’s cause of death

Marshawn Kneeland was involved in a car chase with Texas police on Nov. 5. The Cowboys defensive end was driving at 145 mph, according to Fox4 News. Police followed Kneeland, assuming that the car was stolen. However, the chase ended when they lost track of him.

Kneeland's car was found crashed into a Ford F-350 truck 15 minutes later. A full-scale search was done using drones and K-9 units. He was found dead in a portable restroom inside an office complex at around 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 6. The cause of death was a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the Frisco Police Department.
