The Chargers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 25-10 as McConkey had an amazing outing, recording 107 yards receiving to help his team to its seventh win of the season.

The Chargers started the season with a 27-21 win over the Kansas City Chiefs and then went on to win three games in a row, followed by two losses. In Week 6, they defeated the Miami Dolphins 29-27, followed by a loss to the Indianapolis Colts. They then won three games in a row.
