The Detroit Lions announced on Thursday that rapper Eminem and his longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg, will serve as executive producers for the team's Thanksgiving Halftime Show powered by Verizon. Marshall Mathers, also known professionally as Eminem, will advise the Detroit franchise on its annual Thanksgiving Halftime Show for at least the next three years.When analyst Jason Whitlock caught wind of Eminem linking up with the Lions for their upcoming Thanksgiving Halftime Shows, he didn't seem too pleased and let his feelings be known on X. They have also hosted performances by many rappers, including Big Sean and Jack Harlow, as well as country music star Shaboozey in recent years.For this year's Thanksgiving game, the Lions will host the Green Bay Packers on Nov. 27.
