Retired two-time Super Bowl champion LeSean McCoy is excited for Shedeur Sanders' first game as the Cleveland Browns' QB1 in Week 12. On Wednesday, coach Kevin Stefanski announced that Coach Prime's son would take over the starting quarterback position while Dillon Gabriel remains in concussion protocol."Shedeur's gonna start at quarterback," Stefanski said. And give our guys a chance to go execute and play fast."After the announcement, LeSean McCoy took to social media with a supportive message for Shedeur Sanders."Let the real begin...@ShedeurSanders every hood cheering for you lil bra," McCoy tweeted. Both Shedeur and Dillon Gabriel were drafted by the Browns this year. Initially, the ex-Oregon star served as the backup, while Coach Prime's son was the third-string option on the depth chart. However, Gabriel quickly replaced veteran Joe Flacco in Week 5 after a 1-3 start to the season.Flacco was then traded to the Bengals last month, which resulted in Shedeur taking over the backup job. Last week, he made his debut for the team in the second half against the Ravens after Dillon Gabriel suffered a concussion. However, Shedeur ended his debut with a disappointing 23-16 loss at home. The rookie quarterback completed four of 16 passes for 47 yards with no touchdowns and one interception. The Browns are currently placed last in the AFC North with a 2-8 record.Shedeur Sanders expresses excitement ahead of his QB1 debut for the BrownsDuring Wednesday's press conference, Shedeur Sanders expressed his excitement about finally getting to start for the Cleveland Browns this season. The rookie quarterback said that he will completely focus on the game and block out any form of distraction that hinders his performance."I think it's gonna be exciting," Shedeur said. And you know, I'd be excited."I would be doing a disservice to myself and a disservice to the organization if I don't feel like I am the guy. I'm doing everything I need to prepare to be the best version of myself possible."The Browns will take on the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday at 4:05 p.m. ET.
