The Instagram post displayed two white jerseys with purple and gold trim in glass cases. Burrow's jersey read "Burreaux" with No. 9, while Daniels' No. 5 jersey was below it.

Burrow won the Heisman Trophy in 2019 and led the Tigers to a 15-0 (8-0 SEC) season and a national championship. He was selected at No. 1 in 2020 by the Cincinnati Bengals.

Daniels won his Heisman in 2023. He's the only player in FBS history to pass for 12,000 yards and rush for 3,000 yards in a career. He was selected at No. 2 in 2024 by the Washington Commanders.

Bengals coach Zac Taylor shared his thoughts about having his team's QB1 back.

"It's a lot of fun to watch Joe Burrow play football," Taylor told reporters after the game. "Statistically it's not the best game that we've ever had as an offense, but you could feel the rhythm he was in, the confidence he was in."

Burrow completed 24 of 46 passes for 261 yards and two touchdowns. Cincinnati wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase caught seven passes for 110 yards.

Meanwhile, Jayden Daniels is still out for Washington with a dislocated left elbow. The Commanders lost their seventh straight game on Sunday, falling 27-26 to Denver in overtime. Marcus Mariota has gone 1-5 as the starter.

Washington coach Dan Quinn expressed how he felt about seeing his team compete despite losing the game.
