Stefanski and offensive coordinator Tommy Rees chose to remove Sanders from the field for a wildcat formation with running back Quinshon Judkins taking the snap. Judkins was caught in between two minds: whether to pass or run the ball. The play was nullified by the Titans' defense, ending the Browns' comeback hopes.

The Browns are now 3-10 and missed out on the chance to beat fellow strugglers, the Titans. Shedeur Sanders finished the game with a stat line of 364 passing yards, three passing touchdowns, one rushing TD, and one interception.

LeSean McCoy accuses Kevin Stefanski of holding Shedeur Sanders back

Two-time Super Bowl-winning running back LeSean McCoy is calling out Kevin Stefanski for holding back Shedeur Sanders. McCoy wrote on X (formerly Twitter),

"How can Shedeur be great when his own coach holding him back… I can’t wait to hear KEVIN excuse."

Stefanski's handling of Sanders in his rookie season has been widely criticized. Sanders started the season as the fourth string QB on the depth chart. Trades and injuries saw him start his first game in Week 12 against the Las Vegas Raiders. The Colorado Buffaloes product has since impressed as the undisputed starter, and his 300+ passing yards and four touchdown performance was his best showing yet.

The Browns are 3-10, and Stefanski is on the hot seat. The two-time Coach of the Year is in the hot seat, and the final four games of the regular season could either result in him keeping or losing his job.
