Kay Adams shares boyfriend traits that matter most as she prepares to open up to dating again

Sports commentator Kay Adams opened up about the traits she is looking for in a potential boyfriend. The sportscaster appeared on Wednesday's episode of "Bussin’ With the Boys," in which she reflected on her personal life.

She answered some intriguing questions and shared the qualities she is looking for in her boyfriend. The "Up & Adams" host said that “loyalty” is “more important than anything" in a relationship.

"I will say attraction-wise like on a first date kind of thing would be intelligence and wit," she said (Timestamp 1:55:00). "There's nothing better than banter and I have that with so few people. I would say the loyalty. I need to feel secure. I need somebody who makes me feel secure. So loyalty is more important than anything. And I'm a very loyal person. I am that."

She also mentioned the hobbies she looks for in a potential boyfriend, which include “reading or playing music.” She revealed that the person she loved the “most in her life ever” and thought she would “marry” did “both of the things.”

Kay Adams opens up about her ideal first date

In the same podcast, Kay Adams also shared what her ideal first date would be. She was asked to choose from four options: a cozy dinner at a local restaurant, an adventurous outing, a concert or a movie night.

"The truth is, I have realized that I have very little experience dating," she said (Timestamp 1:52:44). ... "I am a relationship girl, and by the time that you are so persistent that I'm on the first date with you, we're already in love. You're my boyfriend, and we are just consummating—not physically, but consummating—like, this works."

However, she then named a “cozy dinner” as her first ideal date.

"So, that said, I don't have much experience, but I would say it's got to be a dinner. I love a cozy dinner," she added. "It should be romantic. It should be planned entirely by the man. This is generally speaking."

She also said that the man should pay on the first date.

Kay Adams was previously linked to Daniel Jones. However, in an episode of “The 25/10 Show" last year, she shut down the rumors and said that she was not dating him.
