A video of Aaron Rodgers and Jordan Love’s postgame exchange went viral after the Green Bay Packers defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 35-25 on Sunday. It sparked rumors that Rodgers refused to swap jerseys with his former understudy.

Cameras caught their brief postgame interaction, but no jersey swap occurred, fueling online speculation.

Love addressed the video and confirmed that they exchanged jerseys on Monday on the "Up & Adams" show.

"I told him I need that jersey. He said he'll just send it in the locker room," Love said. "So, yeah, we did jersey swap, send them to each other's locker room. So, I got that jersey, which is awesome. It's a really cool moment. Definitely something that will be hanging on my wall. Just, like I said, I am grateful for that moment."

The moment carried added meaning, as Love, Rodgers’ successor in Green Bay, threw for 360 yards and three touchdowns. Meanwhile, Rodgers managed 219 yards and two scores.

During the week, both quarterbacks spoke about exchanging jerseys.

"Packers have always been a little weird about swapping (jerseys)," Rodgers said, via TMJ4’s Ashley Washburn. "Don’t know what the policy is, but if there is one, it would be Jordan Love."

Love expressed a similar approach.

“I would love to swap jerseys with him," Love said, via WFRV Local 5’s Kyle Malzahn. "But who knows? They’re breaking out those throwback jerseys. We’ll see. I like to hold onto mine, so I’ll see what he wants to do. But I need one, for sure.”

Tucker Kraft says Jordan Love is “fulfilling his end of the bargain” after win over Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft believes the team’s quarterback legacy is in safe hands after their 35-25 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers. With Aaron Rodgers watching from the opposite sideline, Jordan Love set a franchise record for consecutive completions and led the Packers to victory on Sunday.

“The legacy that (Rodgers) left, I would say Jordan’s filling those shoes,” Kraft said on Monday, via ESPN. “When you’re talking about the Favre to Rodgers to Love, Jordan has stepped up and fulfilled his end of the bargain.”

Love has thrown 13 touchdowns with just two interceptions this season, maintaining a 70.9% completion rate despite multiple receiver injuries.
