The Cincinnati Bengals acquired Joe Flacco via a trade with the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 7. The Bengals brought in the veteran QB after Joe Burrow suffered a turf toe injury. However, Burrow took part in full practice for the first time on Wednesday, suggesting that he could return as Cincinnati's QB1 in the near future.With Burrow expected to return as the starting quarterback for the Bengals soon, Flacco opened up on wanting to continue playing even in the 2026 season.“Hopefully it reinforces it in somebody’s mind that I can do it,” Flacco said on Wednesday. “I do still want to do it. I still feel like I can do it. This obviously does help with the confidence of being able to do it and all that stuff. I would like an opportunity, but you just never know.”In five games as Cincinnati's temporary starter, Joe Flacco recorded 1,453 passing yards, 12 touchdown passes and three interceptions. He has a 1-4 record with the Bengals.Flacco's only win with Cincinnati came in October, when the Bengals beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 33-31.Flacco will be a free agent at the end of this season.
