The Jets made some big moves before the 4 p.m. ET trade deadline. They traded 2022 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Sauce Gardner to the Colts for two first-rounders and WR Adonai Mitchell. They also traded All-Pro DT Quinnen Williams to the Cowboys for a 2026 second rounder and a 2027 first round pick, along with DT Mazi Smith.

NFL insider reveals one team that made an offer for Breece Hall

On the "SYN Show" on Tuesday, insider Connor Hughes revealed that the Kansas City Chiefs had made an offer to the Jets for the running back. However, the deal fell through for one reason.

"With Breece Hall, there was an offer on the table for a fourth-round pick for Breece Hall," Hughes said. "I was told it waas the Kansas City Chiefes that were willing to trade for Breece Hall. The Jets were steafast in wanting a third. So they want a third-round pick for Breece Hall. They were not able to get one. They had a fourth-round offer."

The Chiefs need some help in the RB room after Isiah Pacheco's injury, leaving veteran Kareem Hunt as the only experienced player on the depth chart. However, they ended up not making any trades at all before the 4 p.m. ET deadline.

The Jets are currently placed fourth in the AFC East with a 1-7 record. Their first win under new coach Aaron Glenn came in Week 8 against the Bengals after a seven-game losing streak.
