The Dallas Cowboys acquired Quinnen Williams via a trade with the New York Jets on Tuesday. The Cowboys will hope that the defensive tackle can add some defensive stability to the team. However, NFL analyst Mad Dog Russo believes that the Jets "fleeced" Cowboys general manager Jerry Jones with Williams."I mean, by the time they get good, he'd be done anyway," Russo said of Williams on "First Take." "Plus, he anchored the Jet defense of the last whatever it might be, they never won anything ... they haven't won anything. They've been awful. I'm going to give you their records since he's been in the Giants."And the same thing goes for (Sauce) Gardner. They haven't won, all the Jets, they haven't made the playoffs since 2010. The Jets, I never thought I'd say this, they fleeced the Cowboys. They got a number one pick, and they got a second round pick, and they unloaded a lot of money for a guy who hasn't won any games. By the time the Cowboys get good again, who knows when that might be?"In exchange for Williams, Dallas is sending a 2026 second-round pick and a 2027 first-round pick to the Jets. Jones has come under pressure after Dallas' rather poor start to the season. The Cowboys currently have a 3-5-1 record heading into Week 10 and need to step up if they want to qualify for the playoffs. How has Quinnen Williams fared with the Jets this season?Former New York Jets DT Quinnen Williams - Source: GettyIn eight games for the Jets this season, Quinnen Williams recorded 32 tackles (17 solo), 1.0 sack, 12 stuffs and three forced fumbles.
