Jerry Jones was visibly disappointed after the Dallas Cowboys' 27-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. Just a few hours before the game, he revealed on SiriusXM radio that his team made a trade before Tuesday's deadline and how this new player will address some of the problems they've had on the field.However, Jones decided not to reveal any more details regarding who this mystery player could be."Immediately it will have him on the field and it will address some of the things that have been our shortcomings," Jones said as per The Athletic's Jon Machota.However, after the loss to the Cardinals at home, it looks like Jerry Jones is now backtracking on his comments on the mystery trade. As per Machota, he sounded less confident about his previous statement and highlighted how he has no interest in trading away current players on the roster."Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is walking back a bit on the trade talk he was discussing earlier in the day. It's still possible, but he doesn't sound as convicted about it. He has no interest in trading away any of their current players. 'I like our nuts and bolts a lot.'" Jones said as per Machota's tweet.The Cowboys trailed the Cardinals 17-7 at halftime after coach Jonathan Gannon's team took an early lead in the first quarter. They kept their foot on the offensive pressure in the second half, leaving Jerry Jones' team no room to make a comeback.Quarterback Jacoby Brissett completed 21 of 31 passes for 261 yards and three total touchdowns for his team.On the other hand, Cowboys signal-caller Dak Prescott completed 24 of 39 passes for 250 yards and one TD passing with one interception. He found WR Ryan Flournoy with a five-yard passing TD in the fourth quarter.
