Mike Greenberg didn’t hold back after the Dallas Cowboys’ latest primetime disappointment.
His remarks came a day after Jerry Jones' team lost 27-17 to the Arizona Cardinals on Monday Night Football. The defeat dropped the Cowboys to 3-5-1.
"I'll just take you inside of it," Greenberg said on Tuesday, via "Get Up." "We try to figure out how many different ways can we say the Cowboys just aren't any good.
"If they were wearing any other uniform, we have to be honest about it, we talk about the Cowboys because when we do, our ratings go up. The reality is the Cowboys are a bad football team, and this morning, there's only so many different ways to say that."

The loss left Dallas chasing the 6-2 Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East and clinging to faint playoff hopes. Consecutive losses to Chicago, Carolina and Arizona have buried the Cowboys in the conference standings.
Jerry Jones said coordinator turnover has damaged defensive stability

Jerry Jones said during his appearance on 105.3 The Fan that his revolving door of defensive coordinators has disrupted the foundation of the Cowboys defense.
Dallas has cycled through Mike Nolan, Dan Quinn, Mike Zimmer and Matt Eberflus since 2020. Jones stressed that lack of continuity has cost them consistency.
"I've errored over the last three years with the changing of defensive coordinators or defensive philosophies or the adjustments there,"' Jones said on Tuesday. "When I look back, if I see one thing that I had to do over again, I would've tried to not change out our coordinator every year over the last three years. Continuity, I know better."
Arizona backup quarterback Jacoby Brissett, filling in for Kyler Murray, picked apart the Cowboys defense. He threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns, guiding the Cardinals past 300 total yards for the third straight game.
Rookie wideout Marvin Harrison Jr. burned Dallas for seven receptions and 96 yards, including an early touchdown that set the tone. Tight end Trey McBride added another score, which was his fourth in Brissett’s three starts.
Arizona converted seven of its first nine third downs, exposing the Cowboys’ inability to get off the field in crucial moments. Dallas entered the game ranked last in the NFL in third-down defense.
