“It’s fantastic," Jason said Wednesday's episode of the "New Heights" podcast. "I mean, it’s a high end, like, very well done steakhouse.
“There’s a lot more creativity to it. I didn’t know there was the GOAT Burger, which was like a step up from the big red, but I’m like, I’m getting the big red. I’m here for the Andy Reid Burger. Gotta get the big red. And then got the cheesesteak as well. We also got the meatballs and whipped ricotta.”

A Reddit post titled “Travis Kelce’s 1587 Prime PR vs. Reality” last week showed a fancy promo photo next to a plain-looking bowl of $16 mashed potatoes.

One user joked that the picture “caused instant Irritable Bowel Syndrome.”

1587 Prime opened on Sept. 17. It is co-owned by Travis Kelce and Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, along with hospitality group Noble 33.

Its menu is packed with fancy steaks, including a 40-ounce wagyu tomahawk. Other standout dishes are the crispy togarashi fried chicken and a rich twice-baked potato loaded with black truffle and smoked gouda. The steakhouse also serves a fun side called the Mahomes Ketchup Flight with different flavors.

The drink list includes creative cocktails like “The Alchemy,” inspired by a Taylor Swift song.

Jason Kelce on dad Ed Kelce’s awkward moment with female staff at 1587 Prime

Jason Kelce had fans cracking up as he told a funny story about dinner with his dad, Ed Kelce, at Travis Kelce’s 1587 Prime restaurant.

Jason shared on Wednesday how Ed accidentally stole the show at the fancy steakhouse. According to Jason, while the waitress was mentioning menu items, Ed, who has trouble hearing in loud places, chimed in with a random dish name.

“The waitress is listing off all these things, and you know dad can’t hear, right?” Jason said, via the "New Heights" podcast.
“He whispers to me, ‘I can’t fu**ing hear a single thing she’s saying.’ And all he does while she’s still talking. He just blurts out, ‘Whippercotta meatballs.’ She is like, ‘Oh yeah, the Whippercotta is nice.’ And I am like, ‘Oh no, no, he’s (not) ordering that.’ It was so f**king funny.”

The dinner happened the night before the Chiefs beat the Commanders 28-7 at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday.

Jason was in town working with ESPN’s "Monday Night Football" broadcast and decided to have a meal with his dad before the game.
