The Philadelphia Eagles' two-game losing streak has again raised questions about the reigning Super Bowl winner's lack of running game this season.
Although the Eagles are leading the NFC East with an 8-4 record, it has been a bumpy ride for Philadelphia fans this season, especially watching running back Saquon Barkley's reduced offensive role.
The team's identity crisis this season has greatly impacted Barkley, who is yet to reach 1000 yards for the season after his career-best 2005 yards last year. Former Eagles center and Philadelphia fan Jason Kelce shared his expectations for the star RB on his "New Heights" podcast.
"I can't wait to see Saquon Barkley running again man," Kelce said (Time stamp - 40:40 onwards). That's all I want. I know everybody wants to see the passing game. I want to see Saquon Barkley running through the fuc**ing line untouched all the way to the end zone. That's what I'd like to see."

Following his record-setting 2024 season, Barkley signed a lucrative two-year, $41.2 million contract extension in March this year. However, the three-time Pro Bowler has not been able to live up to the expectations this season.
Eagles insider admits Saquon Barkley could play a crucial role in remaining games
Although Saquon Barkley has been a shadow of the player he was last season, ESPN's Tim McManus feels the Pro Bowl could play a crucial role in the Eagles' postseason push.
"The reigning Offensive Player of the Year has had a difficult time getting going in 2025," McManus wrote. "He is on pace for 1,048 rushing yards, just about half of his production from his record-breaking 2024 season (2,005).
"He has faced more stacked boxes and is running behind an offensive line that hasn't been as buttoned up as last season's group. The ground game is vital to Philadelphia's operation. The Eagles need to figure out how to unlock Barkley if they have designs on making another run."
In the last two games, Barkley registered just 23 carries for 78 yards, contributing to the Eagles' slumping offensive performances against the Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears.
