Shohei Ohtani, who headed into the fourth game of the series amid a quiet offseason, was the designated starter for the Dodgers, one win away from clinching a World Series berth.

The Japanese phenom made an electric start, striking out the first three Milwaukee Brewers hitters, two on 100mph+ pitches and followed it with a solo home run in the bottom of the first.

The reigning NL MVP, who is in the running for a fourth MVP award this season, pitched six scoreless innings, allowing just two hits with 10 strikeouts. He was in a punishing mood at the plate as well, hitting three home runs to take the Dodgers to a second consecutive World Series.

J.J. Watt doesn't see the "appeal" of coaching college football players

Since his retirement from football at the end of the 2022 season, J.J. Watt has transitioned into broadcasting, joining CBS' game announcing team earlier this year.

Watt remains connected with football, the former Pro Bowler doesn't see himself in a coaching role. Although the former defensive end likes helping young players, is doesn't see the "appeal" of everything else surrounding the role.

“The life of a college football coach has absolutely no appeal whatsoever to me,” Watt saidvia On3. “I like coaching football, just the pure on-the-field Xs and Os, like helping guys be better at what they do and create the best they can.
"But, then you add in all the meetings, you add in all the hours, and you add in recruiting and the traveling and having to go to these 17-year-old kids and be like, ‘Hey, you’re the greatest in the world, come to the university.”

Watt also weighed on the difficulty of managing modern players with the arrival of NIL and boosters.
