Dallas Cowboys star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb recorded three drops in his team's Week 12 win over the Philadelphia Eagles. One of those drops occurred in the end zone, and Lamb appeared to point the blame at Dak Prescott for the ball placement.Former NFL player and current FS1 analyst Emmanuel Acho had choice words for Lamb. Acho wrote on X (formerly Twitter):"The fact that CeeDee Lamb had the audacity to complain about where Dak through this pass after he DROPPED IT is shameful…"Lamb finished the game with a stat line of four catches, 75 receiving yards, and no touchdowns. Following the contest, Dak Prescott defended his teammate in front of the media. The Cowboys star said,"He is a guy that expects to make a lot of plays, and when he's not making them, trust me, I've had games I felt the exact same way, so for me it was about, hey, don't press."Prescott continued,"Let's not ride the highs and the lows, maybe let it go. You are a hell of a player, he made great plays and big plays. The big catch down the end, and got the PI, would have been a touchdown right after that."Prescott concluded,"It was some adversity tonight, and we've seen it before, and we've seen the way that he responds.
