Cam Skattebo's rookie season with the New York Giants was cut short after he suffered a season-ending ankle injury in Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles. However, after undergoing surgery, Skattebo has been making a few public appearances. On Monday night, just a few weeks after breaking his right fibula and dislocating his ankle, Skattebo was at WWE's RAW event in Madison Square Garden in New York. The Giants running back also had a staged tussle with WWE star Dominik Mysterio during a six-man tag team match featuring John Cena.On Wednesday, ESPN analyst Jeff Saturday appeared to take a dig at Skattebo for participating in a staged brawl with WWE stars amid his rehab."I don't love it," Saturday said on "Get Up." "I love Skattebo, as a player, I think he's unbelievable. I think the risk-reward in the situation was probably not well thought out. Whether you like it or not, he did get pushed pretty hard, and there's four dudes around you. If somebody falls on that same leg, a couple weeks out of a serious injury, I understand it's scripted, but there's still a risk-reward situation that it's not probably in the best mindset...."It's a risk-reward situation that I didn't love."During his special appearance on RAW, Skattebo limited his interactions to stationary pushing and shoving. He was also behind a thick barrier during the brawl.Giants RB Cam Skattebo shares an update on his ankle injuryNew York Giants RB Cam Skattebo - Source: GettyCam Skattebo offered an update on his ankle injury last week during a Twitch live stream.
