Shedeur Sanders helped the Cleveland Browns take a much-needed win against the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. However, the postgame celebration turned into a controversy, all centered on Deion Sanders' son and how the Cleveland coach handled his rookie quarterback’s first NFL victory.

Sanders became the first Browns QB since 1995 to win his debut. He went 11 of 20 for 209 yards, a touchdown and a pick. Yet when Stefanski addressed the locker room, his praise for Sanders was barely there to notice. Also, Stefanski handed the game ball to Myles Garrett, who recorded three sacks and pushed his season total to 18.

In his postgame speech, Stefanski highlighted multiple players like rookie returner Gage Larvadain, punter Corey Bojorquez and RB Dylan Sampson, before sliding in a quick, “Nice job, Shedeur. Well done.”

This rubbed Emmanuel Acho the wrong way. On his "SPEAKEASY" podcast, Acho called out Stefanski, tweeting,

“Kevin Stefanski’s public treatment of Shedeur is wildly uncalled for. It’s demeaning and seems personal.”

On "Nightcap," Shannon Sharpe and Chad Ochocinco had a similar criticism for the Browns HC. According to them, Sanders deserved the game ball simply for performing under impossible circumstances.

“The guy got no snaps with the players he was out there with… and all you got for him is that?” Sharpe said.

Instead of celebrating a breakthrough moment, the Browns now face another self-inflicted debate.

Shedeur Sanders' Week 13 status vs. 49 remains unclear

The Cleveland Browns finally stopped their skid with a 24–10 win over the Raiders, but the biggest question entering Week 13 still doesn’t have an answer: Will Shedeur Sanders start again?

Sanders impressed in his NFL debut while guiding a young offense to its first win in over a month. But head coach Kevin Stefanski refused to commit to him as the Browns prepare for the 49ers.

“I’m not going to get into that,” Stefanski said. “Proud of him… but I’m just going to worry about today." (01:40)

With Dillon Gabriel progressing through concussion protocol, Cleveland’s QB decision now hangs in the balance.
