He got shoved by pro wrestlers while recovering from a dislocated ankle and fractured fibula. His replacement, Tyrone Tracy Jr., admitted he nearly had a heart attack watching it unfold.

Skattebo reported to the Giants' facility on Tuesday for treatment and avoided further injury. However, former Giants defensive end Michael Strahan couldn’t hide his frustration.

“I would’ve fought Skattebo for fighting on a broken ankle,” Strahan joked. “We need you to play football!”

Nonetheless, teammates insist Skattebo will attack his rehab just as fiercely as he attacked the WWE moment.

“Aye, honestly, if you don’t like that I’m having a good time… just unfollow and move on,” Skattebo wrote. “I’m not able to play football… so I am doing things outside the box trying to find stuff to keep me happy.” He closed with: “Don’t talk about me if you ain’t got nothing nice to say.”

The backlash stemmed from Skattebo standing up to Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh after being taunted ringside at Madison Square Garden. The moment escalated when Skattebo shoved McDonagh to the ground, triggering a brief skirmish involving teammates and comedian Andrew Schulz.
