Lane Kiffin announced on X on Sunday that he will be taking up the coaching job at LSU after six years at Ole Miss. When former NFL wideout Chad Johnson found out about Kiffin's move to Baton Rouge, he pleaded with the coach to get a job on his staff.
Johnson tweeted that he would be prepared to relocate to serve as a wide receivers coach under Kiffin at LSU.
"Lane if you need a WR coach i can relocate tomorrow," Johnson tweeted on Sunday.

Kiffin will be looking to build his coaching staff at LSU after a rather acrimonious split from Ole Miss. It will be interesting to see if he takes up Johnson's offer.
Johnson played 11 years in the NFL from 2001 to 2011. He spent 10 years with the Cincinnati Bengals and played one season with the New England Patriots.
Johnson racked up 11,059 yards and 67 touchdowns on 766 receptions across 167 regular-season games. He earned six Pro Bowl honors and three first-team All-Pro selections.
Johnson and the Patriots made it to the Super Bowl in 2012, where they lost to the New York Giants.
After establishing himself as one of the best wideouts to play in the NFL, it appears Johnson wants to venture into coaching. Johnson has not had any coaching jobs so far.
