Rizzo lashed out at the coach on Monday.

"Watch this garbage week after week and nothing changes," Rizzo said, via "The Tony Rizzo Show." "How in hell does Stefanski have a job here?
"Last two seasons he's 6 and 23. Oh my god. 23 f****** Mondays that I gotta come in here and kiss a** and f***. I'm done with it. I'm done with everybody. Get out! Everybody! Everybody! I wish we could fire the owner. That's what I wish."

Cleveland (3-9) have never gone past the divisional round since Stefanski took over in 2020. It recorded three losing seasons entering 2025, and will add another to its tally on Jan. 4. Even if the Browns manage to win all of their remaining games, the best they could have is an 8-9 slate.

Stefanski has a 43-53 record in the regular season and 1-2 in the postseason. His only playoff win was against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the wild-card round in his first season with Cleveland.

Shedeur Sanders defends Kevin Stefanski after Browns' loss vs. 49ers

Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders backed Kevin Stefanski's play-calling following Sunday's home loss to San Francisco. One of the calls involving tight end Harold Fannin Jr. led to a fumble, allowing the 49ers to extend their lead to 17-8.

Sanders was asked to share his take on his coach's fourth-down calls deep in the team's territory.

“I mean, first, that’s a rude question to ask, if I think it was a great call by my coach," Sanders told reporters.

The rookie explained that he enjoys being on the field and accepts whatever situations arise. He added that no one on the team will blame or criticize the coaching staff.

Next up for Stefanski and Co. are the Tennessee Titans (1-11), who have the worst record in the NFL this season. The Cam Ward-led team is on a seven-game losing streak, with its only win against the Arizona Cardinals nearly two months ago.

Despite his subpar performance against the 49ers, Sanders will remain the Browns' QB1 in Week 14 .
