He's voicing what many Browns fans are openly wondering after yet another no-show performance. The frustration comes not just from the loss, but from what many view as continued mismanagement of rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders and an offense that looks directionless.

With the Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals still on the schedule, Cleveland realistically may not win another game. Despite winning Coach of the Year twice, patience has worn thin.

Kevin Stefanski responds to Browns' job security question

It’s difficult to imagine a more discouraging season for Kevin Stefanski. At 3-11 and buried at the bottom of the AFC North, frustration is boiling over among fans with head coach Kevin Stefanski in the crosshairs. Much of the criticism centers on his handling of the quarterback position, a season-long carousel that has yielded little stability or success.

Stefanski began the year with Joe Flacco, pivoted to Dillon Gabriel, and is now four weeks into the Shedeur Sanders experiment. After an embarrassing loss to the Chicago Bears, questions about his decision-making and his job security intensified. Asked directly about his future with the team, Stefanski declined to engage.

“I’m not gonna get into those types of things,” Stefanski told The Athletic’s Zak Jackson. “My focus, our focus, is solely on the Buffalo Bills.”

While Stefanski may want to keep the conversation focused on the future, the results are hard to ignore. In 98 games as Browns head coach, he has a 43-55 record. He deserves credit for two 11-win seasons and snapping Cleveland’s 25-year playoff win drought in 2020.
