A.J. Brown appears to have finally come unglued. That’s according to many fans, who say the Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver looked visibly upset during a recent interview. On Thursday, the three-time Pro Bowler was asked to respond to the speculation that he’s not the same player he once was. His response:“I guess Saquon (Barkley) ain’t the same player either,” said Brown (Time Stamp 0:07).The offense has been the subject of widespread criticism, struggling to get things going this season. Brown has often been the forgotten man in the receiving corps without a single target in the opening half of their first regular season outing versus the Dallas Cowboys.Some people believe the team’s offensive woes are finally getting to Brown.“He’s clearly frustrated that the offense is an AJ problem when other players are underperforming but they’re not held to the same standard,” said one person.“A man with a sub par QB,” suggested another.“Gotta bench this guy at some point,” one fan recommended.In nine games this season, Brown has accumulated just 457 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Jalen Hurts, meanwhile, is only averaging 3.7 yards per carry, the lowest of his NFL career. For some, Brown’s words are an indirect message that offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo needs to get fired.
