Retired NFL running back LeSean McCoy has weighed in on Jason Williams' comments about Klay Thompson's girlfriend, Megan Thee Stallion. While discussing Thompson's shooting slump, Williams and Patrick Beverley attributed the blame to his relationship with Megan."It only takes one p***y to drag a battleship across the desert. That's how powerful it is," William said. "Klay Thompson, I ain't sayin' that's what it is. ... but that might be what it is."On Friday's episode of the "Speakeasy" podcast, McCoy said Williams will have to deal with Thompson's good friend Draymond Green."You know what it is though? They can get that off of Klay, you know what I mean?" McCoy said. "Cause Klay isn't really into all that. He plays a good dude. I love Klay. He gonna settle that with Draymond Green though. You know why? Cause he's probably gonna punch his mouth."Respect a man woman. Why are we talking about women in that fashion anyway? You got kids and all that. ... You gotta be respectful though."The controversy stemmed from Beverley and Williams' comments on Tuesday’s episode of Barstool Sports’ “Hoopin’ N Hollerin'” podcast“I’ve never seen Klay not shoot it like this,” Beverley said. “...His routine is thrown off. I’m not saying it’s her… I watch them on Instagram… The guy was juggling. It’s easy to juggle one thing, but when you put something else in there it’s harder, [your] focus takes off a lil bit.”Thompson responded to Williams and Beverley in the comments section of the Instagram video."Referring to my GF as a p***y is so disgusting and disturbing. Especially from someone who played in the NBA. How would y'all feel if I referred to your wives in such a way? Do better fellas. Very disappointing."LeSean McCoy opens up about the cost of success in his lifeLast Saturday, LeSean McCoy made an appearance on ex-FS1 anchor Joy Taylor's podcast, where he highlighted the success he enjoyed in the NFL, but also talked about his personal problems off the field."You know, the enjoyment out of success, you think there's so much joy and you think so much happiness, and a lot of people close to me, friends, women, they took that from me," McCoy said. "And I think because I was successful at such a young age, a lot of them took that from me."So the enjoyment of like, 'Man, I made it', and then you start finding out things and this and that. It's like dang, I'm happy, but I think I don't wanna say I was happier when I wasn't successful or had money. ... People steal your success."LeSean McCoy spent 12 seasons in the NFL. He rushed for 11,102 yards and 73 touchdowns and won two Super Bowls, one with the Chiefs (Super Bowl LIV) and one with the Buccaneers (Super Bowl LV).
