Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles were stunned by the Dallas Cowboys in Week 12 on Sunday. Philly raced to a 21-0 lead in the second quarter, but crumbled to lose 24-21 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, as Dallas produced a sensational comeback in front of its home fans.

While analysing Philly's implosion against the Cowboys, former Eagles defensive end Hugh Douglas has questioned Hurts' leadership.

"I'm not saying Jalen's not a great leader, because I think he is," Douglas said on "94 WIP Sports Radio" on Monday. "But there's been times, especially at issue when he picks and chooses, to me, when he wants to lead. And yesterday, what he said about KP (Eagles offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo) and his offense, that passed the buck to me."

Douglas then said that Hurts needs to be held more accountable for Philly's offensive failures.

"He's a grown a*s man, and I like Jalen just as much as you do," Douglas said. "But I'm gonna hold his feet to the fire if he does something that I don't agree with. ... When I say he's culpable, that doesn't mean he has all the blame, but he's somewhat to blame for it."

Hurts went 27 of 39 for 289 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys. He also rushed for 33 yards and two TDs.

However, many have pointed out that Huts is not making the most of his offensive weapons, including wideouts A. J. Brown, DeVonta Smith and others.

Douglas played with the Eagles for four seasons from 1998 to 2001. He earned a first-team All-Pro selection with them in 2000.
