New York Giants rookie Cam Skattebo suffered a season-ending ankle injury in Week 8 against the Philadelphia Eagles. Skattebo underwent successful surgery, but made headlines a few weeks later when he made a special appearance on Monday night's WWE RAW at Madison Square Garden in New York.Skattebo also had a staged brawl with WWE star Dominik Mysterio during a six-man tag team match featuring John Cena, which sparked some concern about his recovery. Although Skattebo addressed his WWE appearance, NFL insider Dan Dakich slammed the Giants' rookie.“Oh, shut up, Skattebo,” Dakich said on his “Don’t @ Me.” show on Thursday. “You haven’t done s*it. You’re a media creation. Your team sucks, you’re hurt, and you’re acting like a little kid putting your entire franchise who’s relying on you in jeopardy, so stop with all your s*it and be an adult.”Dakich also called for the Giants to void Skattebo's contract.“If I were the Giants, I’d say, ‘Yo, man, you go have fun, we’re going to void this contract,’” Dakich said. “Go get a lawyer and fight it. He isn’t good enough to worry about. This isn’t Walter Payton. This is a little guy that ran for a few yards on a bad team.“We always say in basketball that somebody’s got to be the leading scorer, leading assist, leading rebounder on a bad team. Skattebo is a little guy in a big market on a bad team, so shut the living hell up and be a professional, you clown.”During his appearance on WWE's RAW, Skattebo limited his interactions to shoving and pushing from behind a thick barrier.Cam Skattebo had been one of the best offensive players for the Giants before his injuryNFL: New York Giants RB Cam Skattebo - Source: ImagnCam Skattebo was one of the best offensive players for the Giants before his ankle injury.
