"Go head count us out": Fake Rashee Rice tweet goes viral as  KC's playoff hopes fade after 31-28 loss to Cowboys

Rashee Rice and the Kansas City Chiefs suffered a 31-28 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in Week 13 of the 2025 NFL season on Thursday. The Thanksgiving Day loss was Kansas City's sixth defeat this season, adding another blow to their hopes of making the playoffs.

However, Chiefs fans and many others got baited into thinking Rashee Rice hit back at those who are doubting the team to make the postseason, it was a fan account that tweeted:

Rice was one of the Chiefs' best offensive players against Dallas. He posted 92 yards and two touchdowns on eight receptions.

After the loss to the Cowboys, Chiefs coach Andy Reid discussed some of his team's shortcomings.

"The guys understand we've got to clean up a few things," Reid said. "We've got to do better as coaches, and we've got to do better as players. So you go back to the drawing board and you keep working; that's what you do."

The Chiefs took Rice in the second round of the 2023 NFL draft. He helped the Kansas City win the Super Bowl in his rookie year.

Last season, Rice and the Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl. However, they fell short against the Philadelphia Eagles at the final hurdle.

Rice has looked solid for the Chiefs this season. He has 42 receptions on 59 targets with 486 yards and five touchdowns.

Rashee Rice and the Chiefs will face the Houston Texans in Week 14 of the 2025 NFL season on Dec. 7. The game will kick off at 8:20 p.m. ET from Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.

The Texans had their share of early-season struggles, but they seem to have found some rhythm in the past few weeks. Houston has won three games in a row and will face the Indianapolis Colts in their Week 13 game on Sunday before travelling to face the Chiefs.
